ADavis, Look at the ticks and the scale - this chart is logarithmic. It is not a mere "above/below" the diagonal thing, and the x and y axes do not start at the same point (the x axis starts at 2^11 whereas the y one at 2^13). . For example, FreeBSD has about 2^18 real points, but only 2^16 hype points. So it has 4 times more real stuff than hype stuff. With Fedora, however we have 2^15 real points and 2^14 hype points, wich means about only 2 times real stuff vs hype stuff - so is more hyped than FreeBSD. Of course, the ratio at which something becomes "overhyped" is set rather arbitrarily, but some division has to be made. I've now added four buttons to switch the view to a linear one, or to a full-range chart so that you can see what I mean.

JAlexoid It is not, but I wanted to compare it with the rest of the free unix flavours.

Either the chart doesn't match the table or I don't understand the chart. From looking at the chart I would expect Ubuntu to be overhyped, Mandrake and Fedora Core to be underhyped, and everything else to have fair coverage. But the table has everything overhyped except FreeBSD. What am I missing?

Since when FreeBSD is a "Linux Distribution"?
